What it does
Paste a block of text, type the string you want gone in Find, and type its replacement in Replace with. The output box rewrites itself as you type, replacing every occurrence at once, not just the first one.
It is handy when you recycle a caption template for a new product, change a link across a batch of post drafts, or update a brand name in a script. Matching is literal and case-sensitive, so what you type is exactly what gets replaced.
How to use it

What you get
A read-only Output box containing your full text with every exact, case-sensitive match of the Find string replaced, plus a copy button. If Find is empty, the output is your original text unchanged.
When to use it
- Reuse a caption template
- Keep one launch caption with a placeholder like [PRODUCT], then replace it with the real name for each post in the series.
- Update a link everywhere
- Swap an old shop URL or discount code for the new one across a week of drafted posts in a single pass.
- Delete a repeated string
- Leave Replace with empty to strip something that appears many times, such as a tracking tag or a stray symbol.
- Fix a misspelled name
- Correct a collaborator or brand name that was typed wrong throughout a long description or newsletter draft.

Input

Both placeholders change in one step because the tool replaces all occurrences, not only the first.
Tips
- Use a placeholder that never appears naturally, such as [NAME] or {{link}}, so you cannot accidentally replace real words.
- Matching is case-sensitive: "Sale" and "sale" are different strings, so run a second pass for the other capitalization if needed.
- Short Find strings match inside longer words (replacing "cat" also changes "catalog"), so include a surrounding space or punctuation when that matters.
- The Find box is a single line, so it cannot match line breaks. Use it for words, phrases, links, and symbols.
Questions
Does find and replace change every match or only the first one?
Every match. The tool splits your text on the Find string and joins it back with your replacement, so all occurrences change at once.
Can I use regular expressions or wildcards in the Find box?
No. Matching is plain and literal, which means characters like $, ?, *, and brackets are treated as ordinary text and need no escaping.
Is the search case-sensitive?
Yes. "Shop" will not match "shop" or "SHOP". Run separate passes for each capitalization you need to change.
How do I delete a word from all of my text at once?
Type the word in Find and leave Replace with empty. Every occurrence is removed from the output. Check the spacing afterwards, since the spaces around the word stay behind.
