Our tools are useful, not authoritative. Here is exactly where each category stops being reliable.
Everything on SocialTools Online is provided for general informational purposes. Nothing here is financial, legal, or professional advice, and we make no guarantee about reach, growth, earnings, or search rankings. The notes below describe the specific limits of each tool category so you can judge how much weight to put on a result.
Revenue and earnings calculators are estimates
The YouTube revenue estimator, ROI calculator, CPC, CPM, ROAS, LTV, and conversion-rate tools do arithmetic on numbers you supply. They are not connected to any advertising platform and have no visibility into your account. Actual payouts depend on niche, viewer geography, season, advertiser demand, watch time, monetization eligibility, currency, taxes, and platform revenue-share terms — none of which these calculators can see.
Treat any figure they produce as a planning illustration. Enter a conservative and an optimistic scenario rather than one hopeful number, and never make a spending commitment based on a projection from this site.
The banned hashtag list is a static snapshot
Our banned hashtag checker compares your tags against a list we maintain by hand. It is not a live connection to Instagram, and Instagram does not publish an official list of restricted tags. Restrictions change constantly, vary by region and account, and are sometimes temporary.
A tag marked “safe” here can still be restricted right now, and a tag flagged here may have been reinstated. Always confirm in the app: search the hashtag on Instagram and look at whether recent posts appear normally. The checker is a first-pass filter, not a verdict.
The schema validator is not Google’s Rich Results Test
Our JSON-LD validator checks structure and required fields for common schema types. It tells you whether your markup is well-formed and whether obvious properties are missing. It does not tell you whether Google will show a rich result for your page.
Rich result eligibility depends on Google’s own criteria, page quality, content policies, and whether the marked-up content is actually visible on the page — factors outside the markup itself. Run your final markup through Google’s Rich Results Test and Schema Markup Validator before you rely on it. Use ours to catch mistakes early, not to sign off.
URL and link checkers validate format, not availability
The broken link syntax checker, canonical tag generator, robots.txt generator, and sitemap generator work on text. They confirm that a URL is well-formed, that a directive is written correctly, and that your XML is valid. They do not make HTTP requests, so they cannot tell you whether a URL returns 200, 404, or a redirect chain, and they cannot detect a page that exists but is blocked from indexing.
For live status checks, use a crawler or Google Search Console’s URL Inspection tool. Our tools are for getting the syntax right before you deploy.
Best-time-to-post data is aggregate, not yours
Posting-window suggestions and engagement benchmarks are general ranges compiled from publicly reported industry patterns. They are not derived from your account, your audience, or your time zone, and they cannot account for your niche, follower geography, or content format.
Your own analytics will always beat an aggregate. Use these ranges as a starting hypothesis for a first test, then let your platform insights tell you what is actually true for your audience. Engagement-rate benchmarks work the same way: they are useful for orientation, not as a grade.
Generated text and images need your review
AI hashtag, caption, and bio suggestions are drafts. They can be generic, factually wrong about your business, or tonally off. Read and rewrite anything before you publish it under your name. You are responsible for what you post, including compliance with each platform’s rules and any disclosure requirements for sponsored content.
Browser processing and your files
Image and text tools that run locally process files in your browser and do not upload them to us. That is a privacy benefit, not a backup — nothing is stored, so save your output before you close the tab. Results can vary between browsers and devices depending on available memory and codec support.
How we build and check all of this is described in our editorial policy. If a tool gives you a result that looks wrong, tell us via the contact page. Legal terms of use are on our terms page.
