What this tool does

Estimate YouTube revenue from views and RPM. This is an illustration for planning, not a promise of what YouTube will pay.

RPM varies by niche, country, season, and whether the video is in the Partner Program. Use your own analytics RPM when you have it.

How to use it

  1. 1

Enter your numbers in the fields above.

  2. 2

Review the calculated outputs for YouTube Monetization Calculator.

  3. 3

Copy the figures you need into your brief, sheet, or ad platform.

  4. 4

Recalculate anytime inputs change — nothing is stored after you leave.

What this estimate leaves out

It does not model Shorts vs long-form differences, Super Thanks, memberships, or brand deals. Those can dwarf ad revenue for some channels.

Views that are not monetized (music claims, limited ads) should not be entered as if they pay full RPM.

Tips

  • If you are not in YPP yet, treat the number as a ceiling, not a forecast.
  • Check title length with the YouTube title checker before you publish the video that has to earn those views.

Frequently asked questions

Is this what YouTube will pay me?

No. It is an estimate from views and RPM. Actual revenue depends on niche, geography, season, and whether the video is monetized.

What RPM should I enter?

If you already have YouTube Analytics, use your channel RPM. If not, try a conservative and an optimistic number instead of one best-case figure.
