What it does
This meme maker draws the familiar format: bold uppercase Impact lettering in white with a black outline, one caption across the top and one across the bottom. You bring the picture, either by dragging it onto the drop zone or browsing for it, and the preview updates as you type.
The output is always an 800 x 600 canvas. Your image is scaled to fill it and center-cropped, and long captions wrap onto extra lines automatically. You can also skip the image and write text on a dark blank canvas for a text-only meme.

Tips
- Keep captions short. Text is set at 80 px on the 800 px canvas, so long captions wrap into several lines and cover more of the picture.
- Crop square or portrait images to 4:3 first if the important part sits near the top or bottom edge.
- Place faces and key details in the middle third, where the captions do not reach.
- Only use images you have the right to share, especially for brand accounts.
Questions
Can I change the meme font size or color?
No. The size is fixed relative to the canvas and the style is always white Impact with a black outline, the classic meme look.
Why is my picture cropped in the meme?
The canvas is always 800 x 600 (4:3). Images with a different shape are scaled to fill it and trimmed evenly from the sides or top and bottom.
Can I make a meme with just text and no picture?
Yes. Without an image the captions are drawn on a dark blank canvas. If you already added a picture, click Clear image (use blank canvas).
Does the meme text keep my lowercase letters?
No. Captions are always rendered in capitals to match the traditional meme format.
