What it does
Fancy text is ordinary text rewritten with look-alike Unicode characters, so it keeps its style wherever you paste it. This generator produces six versions of whatever you type: Bold, Italic, Monospace, Circled, Fullwidth and Upside-down.
The input is a multi-line box, which makes it handy for converting a short caption hook, a comment, or a joke line rather than just a name. The upside-down version flips each character and reverses the order, so it reads correctly when the screen is turned around.

What you get

When to use it
- Upside-down comment replies
- Type a short reply, copy the Upside-down line, and post it as a playful comment that people have to tilt their phone to read.
- A bold hook line
- Convert the first sentence of a caption to Bold so it stands out in the feed before the "more" cut-off.
- Retro or vaporwave aesthetics
- Use Fullwidth for spaced-out text like "ｖｉｂｅｓ" in a bio or story caption.

Upside-down reverses the whole string and turns "!" into "¡", so it reads correctly with the phone rotated.
Tips
- Circled digits run from ⓪ to ⑨, so a year or a short count like "2024" converts cleanly into ②⓪②④.
- The Italic lowercase "h" falls on an empty Unicode slot and can show as a box, so avoid Italic for words containing h or swap that letter back to plain text.
- Keep fancy text out of the words people search for. Instagram and TikTok search treat styled characters as different letters.
Questions
Does upside-down text work in Instagram comments?
Usually yes. The flipped characters are standard Unicode letters from other alphabets (such as ɐ, ǝ and ʇ), so they paste like any text. A few capitals rely on rarer characters, so lowercase flips most reliably.
Why does my fancy text look normal on some phones?
Older devices or apps without the needed characters fall back to boxes, question marks, or in some cases a plain-looking substitute. Circled and Fullwidth are widely supported; Bold and Monospace depend on the device having the math alphanumeric symbols.
Can I convert several lines at once?
Yes. The input box accepts line breaks, and each style converts the full text. The results area shows one line per style, but the copied text keeps all of your line breaks.
Should I write a whole caption in fancy text?
It is better not to. Screen readers may read each styled letter by its technical name, and long runs are tiring to read. Use it for a hook or a heading and keep the body in plain text.
