What it does
This collage maker does one simple job: it places photos into square cells on a single canvas. The side-by-side layout produces a 1200 x 600 image from two photos, and the 2x2 grid produces a 1200 x 1200 image from four. Each photo is scaled to fill its 600 x 600 cell and center-cropped, so there are no gaps or borders.
It suits before-and-after comparisons, product angle sets, and a quick four-photo recap for a feed post or a group chat. There are no templates, text, or spacing controls to fiddle with, which keeps it fast when you just need the photos joined.
How to use it

Click the upload box and select up to four images at once. The counter shows how many are selected.

Choose a Layout: 2 horizontal (side by side) needs two images, 2x2 grid needs four.

Check the thumbnails and the collage preview. Photos fill cells left to right, top to bottom, in the order the file picker lists them.

Click Download PNG to save collage-2-horizontal.png or collage-2x2.png.
What you get
A PNG file at 1200 x 600 (two photos) or 1200 x 1200 (four photos), with each photo center-cropped to a 600 x 600 cell.

- Pick your four best photos and post them as one square image instead of a carousel.
Tips
- Keep the subject near the center of each photo, because the edges are trimmed to make every cell square.
- Selecting new files replaces the current set, so choose all photos in one go.
- If the order is wrong, rename the files (1.jpg, 2.jpg...) and select them again; most file pickers sort by name.
- For Instagram portrait posts, run the finished grid through the image cropper to get 4:5.
Questions
Why are the edges of my photos cut off in the collage?
Every cell is a 600 x 600 square and each photo is scaled to fill it completely, so a landscape or portrait photo loses some of its sides or top and bottom. The crop is always centered.
Can I add borders or spacing between the photos?
No. Photos sit edge to edge with no gap. If you want a border, add padding in another editor after downloading.
What happens if I select five or more photos?
Only the first four files are used. The side-by-side layout uses the first two of those.
Can I make a three-photo collage?
Not with the current layouts. Side by side needs exactly two photos and the 2x2 grid needs four; the Download PNG button stays disabled until the count is met.
